The Radwani House - Msheireb Museums (Doha, Qatar)

The Radwani House was built in the 1920s‭, and was restored as part of the Museum Quarter of the Msheireb redevelopment. Today the house house presents traditional Qatari family life and gathers‭, ‬preserves and shares memories of Qatar‭. ‬The house is also a record of construction techniques and designs that are no longer commonly used in Qatar.

Archaeological excavation carried out at Radwani House constituted the very first archaeological work in the centre of‭ ‬Doha and produced a number of important finds that shed light on daily life during those times‭. Extensive historical research and reporting helped contextualize this research and guided the development of the house museum.
